Meet Dr. Emily Hoang

The Professional Side

Dr. Hoang was born and raised in Northern Virginia; she stayed in the state to complete her BS in Biology at Virginia Tech before heading to Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry, earning her DMD.

Dr. Hoang’s interest in dentistry developed when she received a considerable amount of orthodontic care at an early age. Her passion for dentistry grew during college, where she volunteered in “Remote Area Medical” clinics, as well as during her gap year, where she worked as a dental assistant. Her specific interests in dentistry include endodontic therapy and implant dentistry, and she is excited to expand her knowledge in those areas through continued education.

The Personal Side

In her free time, you can find Dr. Hoang running, exploring the many neighborhoods of Chicago, perfecting her baking techniques, and taking photos with her friend’s pets outside.
