Metal Braces

At Amazing Smiles, we use traditional metal braces in cases with extreme overcrowding because they move your teeth in small increments at a time and give your dentist more control.

Braces are commonly used tools to help correct a range of issues with the teeth, such as misalignment, crookedness, and crowding. Metal braces work by attaching brackets to the front of the teeth, interconnected by a series of bands and wires that create pressure on the teeth. This pressure slowly shifts teeth into the desired position.

Successful orthodontic treatment relies on both the expertise of the dentist and the commitment of the patient to follow the prescribed treatment plan. At Amazing Smiles, we are committed to helping our patients every step of the way to ensure they can achieve a beautiful and healthy smile. To ensure the best results, we recommend that our orthodontic patients wear their elastic bands consistently, attend their monthly follow-up appointments, and practice great oral hygiene at home. With our support, you can achieve an amazing smile you’ll be proud to show off.

Brush your teeth twice a day. Brushing your teeth twice a day or after every meal helps remove any food particles or plaque that may get stuck in your braces. It is recommended to use an electric toothbrush to clean the hard to reach areas.
