Meet Dr. Jaclyn MacDonald
The Professional Side
Dr. Jaclyn MacDonald grew up in Palos Heights, Illinois, attending Alan B. Shepard High School. She received her Bachelors in Biomedical Science from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University, College of Dental Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois. She completed her General Practice Residency in advanced general dentistry, hospital dental treatment, and public health at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. Above all else, she considers communication, trust, and respect between doctor and patient to be the most important aspects of care.
Dr. MacDonald is dedicated to dentistry and attends many continuing education courses to stay up-to-date with current technology and materials. She is also very passionate about volunteerism and has donated her time and skills to the Mission of Mercy in both Wisconsin (before she was a dentist) and in Illinois. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society.
The Personal Side
When she is not focused on teeth, Dr. MacDonald enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, traveling, and trying new foods. If you have a favorite (or just unique) restaurant, please share it with her!
